About the position
LadyBoss’ Logistics Department is responsible for the execution of all product development projects as they relate to supplements and clothing & accessories (SWAG). As the Product Development Project Specialist, this role will incorporate concepts and designs from the Executive Advisory Boards into detailed project timelines with documented tasks and action items. The Coordinator is responsible to drive execution through to launch, coordinating all critical activities between Logistics, Marketing and External Supplier R&D Teams. Responsible for providing updates and obtaining milestone approvals from the Executive Advisory Boards along the way.
Manage the supplement and SWAG portfolio of development projects towards on time and on budget product launches.
Be a key representative on the Executive Advisory Boards to ensure all stakeholders are aligned on objectives, priorities, execution plans, and statuses at all times.
Implement and use of project management best practices to drive accountability and effectiveness.
Develop and manage cross functional tactical plans and checklists to drive product launches.
Lead cross-functional meetings in coordination with Marketing and internal and supplier R&D teams.
Identify and manage interdependencies and constraints between resources, systems and processes.
Interact with 3rd party suppliers and manufacturers to augment internal development capabilities and manage timelines.
Confirm alignment with product specifications and checklists to ensure product attributes are met. These include creative, taste, texture and packaging requirements.
Coordinate sample and milestone approvals throughout the process.
Lead communication to all levels of the organization related to new product development and participate in all related meetings and discussions.
5-7 years of applicable project management experience
Strong project management skills
Competency with project management tools (software, gantt charts, timelines) (Monday.com ideal)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
High sense of urgency and drive
Strong cross-functional teaming skills
Effective problem solving skills
Understanding of FDA regulations and good manufacturing practices, preferably 21 CFR Part 111, ideal but not required
High level of Professionalism
